Yesterday was outing day (:We went to Haji lane in the afternoon.
It wasn't as ulu as i thought cos baby managed to find the place after a short walk from Bugis MRT.
Each of the shophouses were decorated with graffiti and ornaments that brings out the unique style of the shop...
It's quite cool and reminded me of the art street that I visited in Beijing.
I guess you can see how excited I was by the number of photos we snapped with our canon powershot... satisfied (:
I bought myself a black blouse that is entirely made of lace at the back and he got us cute PACman tees... hee.
Well, If you are sicked of shopping malls and you love to take your time to admire and explore each shop, Haji lane might be a nice chill out place for you!
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore the entire street as we had to rush to the Asian Civilisation Museum at night... so we enjoyed a sumptious dinner at Lerk Thai before heading to Raffles Place.
Late Night @ ACM was really an interesting experience.
It's my first time exploring a museum at night (:
we went to the special exhibition- Treasury of the World: Jewelled Arts of India in the Age of the Mughals.
The swords and the utensils used in that era were lavishly embellished with gems and gold! I really wondered whether the guys would want to carry those shiny things around...
Yup, we took photos with a big yellow python, drank vodka cocktail, did stamping, colouring and explored the galleries all for free (:
the night ended with a doggie cloud in the sky.... hee.
